How does the Bush Tax Cuts expiration in end of 2010 affect filing capital gain in stock April of 2011?

With the Bush Tax Cuts on the set to expire in 2010, how would this affect my taxes if I sold stock in June with profits? How does the Bush tax cut expiration effect capital gains with respect to filing in April of 2011? No partisan politics please.

It does not affect it at all. The expiration only affects sales that happen after the expiration. Sales before the expiration are taxed the same as if it did not expire. Even if you file after the expiration, you still use the tax rates that were in effect when you sold.
